Default The Last Person In All Of Guild Wars

I've decided that even when GW2 comes out, I will not leave this game and continue to play GW1 daily (at least two hours) until I am the last person in the game.

Therefore, when the time comes, I will be the Omega Man and be the last person (non-bot) in Guild Wars still recklessly chasing rabbits, randomly killing Margonites, smashing the heads of the undead and hanging out with the bots in Jade Quarry.

Anyone else intending to stay playing GW1 even after the new game becomes released?

Well seeing as how I am Mayor of LA for life it would be unfitting of my position to abandon ship...so with that said, I intend to be the last man standing. Nothing wrong with a little company though

You can't be the last one I will!!! We'll have to duel Highlander-style cause there can only be one!:P

Ok jokes apart, as I said before, I have no interest by far on gw2 and I'm not intending to leave this game ever in any case...well until they close servers ofc, which will be a mourning day.

There are so many things that I haven't done in Guild Wars that I'll be playing for a long time to come. In fact, that was one of my biggest fears when I first heard about GW2. Since I was so late to the game, I figured I was going to miss out on all the awesome things that Guild Wars has to offer. I'm glad to hear that there will be continued support for the game and that there will be others around to adventure with long after the future of Tyria is here.

...and I agree...It will truly be a day of mourning should the lights of the GW servers ever be extingushed.

As soon as d3 or gw2 is out, I will abandon this game like rats abandoning a sinking ship. BUT then I'll stop by every few years to make sure your keeping your promise.

Be cool if they changed this game into a d2 style pvp in pve areas and you could join other peoples instance, hostile and go out and try to pk people for good.

to let me leave, anet must shut down the game

since i wont be buying GW2 (or any other MMO), i stay
i wont play it nonstop, but i wont quit either

i have 30+/50 for fun, now playing GW for other kind of fun

sometimes getting help with WoC and such, but for the rest i stay keep doing stuff people find weird
like playing a char which stays in a few areas: from ascalon to beacons, shing jea island, istan (with sin support and max armor, lol)

and opening gifts which i like, even just getting surprised with worthless stuff
like nicholas gifts and royal gifts, lol

so you being last person in GW? nope, its not "you" its "us"

o_O i posted this in GWO i think it was (or was it here? ) but: maybe we bump into each other one day.... as there wont be many others to bump into, lol

oh yea, and trying own builds to even get through stuff like slavers o_O

I may be studying hard or working even harder, I may be busy 24/7, I may love GW2 100x more than I loved GW1.
But as long as GW1 will be running, I'll be here! Maybe not every day, maybe not every week, but I will remain.

not planning on leaving gw anything until they either kick me off the game or its shut down.

I feel quite confident in saying there will be people for whom gw2 isnt what they want to play (for whatever reason)....so there will be a bunch of us who will continue on with gw.

I will remain in GW1 for a long while even after GW2 is released. I would probably have to complete UW with my heroes then since I expect most people would be gone.

With 20 pve characters, I can never run out of things to do in GW1.

Yeah. I'm not leaving either. Getting 50/50 doesn't stop it.

GW1 and GW2 are different enough to enjoy both.
I'm not leaving unless they shut down the servers, or I die or get disabled enough, like losing both eyes and/or hands.
Well, without hands I would probably try with my feet, so no eyes and/or no limbs.

They could increase the HoM to 100/100, and I'll still go for that.

At the end of time, a moment will come when just one man remains. Then the moment will pass… the man will be gone. There will be nothing to show that we were ever here, but stardust… Last man alone with Anet. Am I that man?

Ive done everything possible in this game, and most things more then once. As sad as it is it leave such a huge chunk of my life (Sounds sad i know, but hey, 4.5k hours over 7 years is quite a big chunk i think) and to finally put to ease all those wonderful memories of thinking the Crystal Desert would be Guild Wars 2, running to Droks as Wammo for first time, getting 8+ ecto drops in UW from Chamber+Smites, taking 2 hours to get to Forge when no one could even begin to afford FoW Armor. Had some great times in this game, and some bad ones, really bad ones. Its amazing this game can take such a big impact on your life, but im sure Guild Wars 2 will be full of new memories, new faces, new friends and will hold the same impact that Guild Wars 1 took on me.

Yeah, im not sticking around Guild Wars 1. I find it quite hard to consider doing it let alone believe your trying to be the big man and say NO! Guild Wars 2 is going to pwn no matter if you think it will or not

Oh my, if they ever did that I'd probably burn their cars for it!! It would be the worse thing they could ever ever do.
(don't take my menace seriously, I'm not a bandit)

At the rate my LDoA-in-training is going, I'll probably still be working on THAT ONE TITLE when they shut down the servers.

GW2 doesn't hold any interest for me, and I've devoted a massive chunk of my life to GW.

...and I've only taken the time to finish Factions across all characters (aside from the aforementioned LDoA).

So yeah, I'll be among those waving goodbye as the masses flock to the newer, meaner GW.

I will be the last person left on Guild Wars, I've started playing it again from about 5 years ago, so I hope to complete guild wars in about 10 years or so

I've still got 3 Campains of Content to play through;
Claudia's got many more songs for Bows to play before her music ceases.

I'll be here for a long while. BB.

GW2 as it is now isn't for me. I plan on sticking with and supporting GW for as long as they keep it going.

Yup, I'll be here until the bitter end when Gwen finds Keiran shacking up with Eve and goes ballistic, completely frying the entire world.
